Challenges in Today's Education

The greatest challenges in education sector are tuition fees and inadequate funding for infrastructure in educational institutions. College and school fees rise every year. Staff:

Selection process:

Admission to degree courses is a complex and tiring process. Deadlines for application submission, clashing interview dates and travel expenses limit the number of colleges a student can apply to. The absence of even a single piece of document leads to rejection of the applicant from the admission process.

Attention to psychological development:

While institutions impart skills on problem solving and teach general subjects, the Columbian shooting incident has sparked debates on the importance of psychological guidance in students. Identifying problems that are rooted deep into the mind need to be assessed.

Malpractice:

The unreasonable heights set for academic performance has led to an increase in cases of cheating in schools and colleges. Papers of top entrance exams hacked, students jailed for bringing text materials into halls, teachers bribed for question papers; such stories figure prominently in newspapers during exam seasons.
